Qualification and Experience Required

Professor: Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. A minimum of 10 years’ full-time teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.

Associate Professor: Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. A minimum of 6 years full-time teaching / research / industrial experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions.

Assistant Professor: A Masters degree in Economics from any recognized university and Certification of NET / SET / SLET. A Doctorate / MPhil from any recognized university will be preferred.
