Workshop on Global Capital Market
Workshop on “Global Capital Market”
On 7th Sept 2011, we again had Nisha Dhawan visiting our SSE campus for the third year BSc students to conduct a day long work shop on “Global Capital Market”. This was a continuation of her previous guest lecture and this time it was more of a practical base.
The workshop had two interesting case studies. Case Study 1: Microcosmic reality of a financial crisis. What happens inside a country? And Case Study 2: a Macrocosmic reality of a financial crisis. What happens between countries? This actually made the workshop very interactive, informative. The students truly enjoyed being the different players in the capital market, namely, the buy side, the sell side, the central bank, the finance minister, the general public, regulators, etc.
